Description

18West@onelist.com is a forum for announcing and discussing 18th Century living history events on the west coast of the United States. Typical areas of interest might include the French & Indian War, the American Revolution, California Mission history, and generally anything to do with the 18th century. The primary purpose of this list is to promote and encourage 18th century living history events here on the west coast, so that re-enactors who reside at a distance from the places where those events occured can work towards larger events with more participants. This list is not meant as a forum for the academic discussion of authenticity standards, since those issues are well addressed elsewhere on the internet and on other e-mail lists.
