3pi v8 has a couple of new features to help with this issue. Look at Tools, Options, Controls, Auto-Save. You can set a predefined time interval. Then look at

... If you opened the 3px file, that may have caused the problem. It's the Auto-Save file. If you opened the 3pi file and it causes a consistent problem,

Andrew, The file with the "3px" ending was, I think, an autosaved version. The 3pi program will also make backup copies with a number appended to the name. I
