Ronald Ross has returned to Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica as a member of "The Wall" expedition, an international climbing team that reached the summit of Holtanna, 2600m on January 1, 2001. He will be assisting with the communications, deploying the Stanford Weather Station-WX2, collecting lichen samples for NASA and operating a radio ground station with micro satellite communications to the internet.
