Motorcycle batteries are a convenient size and not too heavy, but they don't hold up well. Like a car battery, they don't like being discharged more than 20%....

I'd stay away from a wet cell motorcycle battery for safety reasons. It will leak the battery acid if it gets turned over. Instead, I'd suggest a gel cell...
