BirdClick uses Clicker Training as a means to provide an enjoyable way to tame and train compainion birds. We use food and non-food treats to play fun games with our birds teach fun tricks and useful behaviors. The birds enjoy this interaction.

Clicker training experience is not required. Nor is bird-owning experience. All we ask is an open mind and a
genuine desire to train in a positive manner. New owners and information seekers are welcome and even encouraged to join us on BirdClick.

We do ask that members not recommend or discuss in a postive manner any solutions that rely on discomfort, pain, force, fear, or intimidation. &nbsp Note that we do not require that you agree not to *use* aversives in your training. Although this list concentrates on positive solutions, we encourage all trainers to join our list and learn about Clicker Training and Operant Conditioning.
