SBIPF, is a newsgroup dedicated to providing current information about breast reconstruction; including augmentation using breast implants, and tissue transfer surgery. SBIPF also includes other related issues, such as the similar health problems many women with breast implants acquire over time.

SBIPF was originally created as a memorial site for the members we have lost due to complications from breast implants. This is how it's name came to be. Over the years, it has evolved into one of the best resources available for information about breast implants, and the health of women who have had augmentation surgery.

Members have the benefit of unlimited, and complete access to the Message Archive which contains approximately 20,000+ posts related to these subjects.

Members can also choose to receive daily newsletters, or they can access current posts via the home page.

SBIPF is a private group, therefore, membership requests are moderated. Prospective members are asked to send a brief Introductory Letter describing their experiences with breast implants to the Director at Lany25@webtv.net or Lily111@webtv.net. This letter is kept confidential.

Though membership is moderated, all women with breast implants, and their concerned family and friends, are welcome, and encouraged to join.
