I have noticed that there is a slight shake at some speeds if you are not really holding the handlebars(apx45-65mph) haven't narrowed it to a certain speed....

Are you using Bridgestone tires? Do you get the headshake around 45mph and on deceleration? If so, buy Avons and it will dissapear :) It's not a bent fork tube...
