This list was established in 2000 as a forum for vets providing a service to zoos in the UK. It is to allow discussion on the veterinary care of zoological collections specifically. In this way, information can be disseminated more quickly than by phone, fax or conferences.
I hope the establishment of this list will increase the standard of veterinary care at zoological collections in the UK.
If you wish to join, please send an email to the listowner with a short (100 word max) description of who you are and what zoo vet services you perform.
