A meeting place for people into the technical side of video. If you know what NTSC means, then this is a list for you. We are NOT about the latest videos at your local video store. We're about how to set up and use video equipment, commercial, broadcast and consumer equipment. Topics could include standards conversion, editing, transmission, HDTV, MPEG, monitors, cameras, switchers.... Please join us if any of this sounds interesting to you.

That could very possibly be the case. Try uninstalling all but your most favore of the video editing softwares and see whether there are improvements in your

I've been using an empty IDE drive since and it's no different. I believe it to be a codec problem as the vista machine plays the videos fine with it's own

Try going back to using a regular IDE drive in place of that SATA drive, IDE has always seemed to be stable enough for me with video capturing and multitrack
