If you think you have ancestors from Roatan, Utila, Guanaja, Cayos Cochinos, etc (islands off the northern coast of Spanish Honduras) then you are welcome to ask to join our group.

TO JOIN is a TWO(2) step process

STEP ONE: Send an email to the group moderator at bay-island-genealogy-owner@yahoogroups.com In it state your full name, names of your parents, grandparents and older Bay Islands connection/s if you know them. List full names and dates of birth, or approximate dates for your grandparents and those older, if you know them. We ask you to do this to keep advertisers and spammers from joining easily and bothering our list members.

No subscriptions will be approved without doing this. Yahoo will automatically delete your request to join if the group moderator has not approved your request within 14 days. So please respond as soon as possible

STEP TWO: Using the same email address click on the JOIN THIS GROUP link on this home page and follow the instructions.
