Greetings,

This is the ninth year of Cathswap at Yahoogroups. It remains the
largest Roman Catholic HS Curriculum Swap on the net. Technology,
curriculum options and opportunities have changed for the good over
these nine years! My eldest son is a senior next year and attends live
online classes. I only imagined the possibilities when we began this
journey.

In taking stock of the value of Cathswap and the possibilities for this
swap I have decided it is time for a major change. That being said,
Cathswap will be moving as of Saturday, July 28th, 2008 to another
platform. Messages will cease to be posted by members here at
yahoogroups today. (read below)

NEW FEATURES INCLUDE:
- Divided categories FOR SALE and WANTED TO BUY items.
- Categories further sub-divided by grade levels.
- Additional categories to cover things like software, sport equipment,
clothing etc.
- Swap Trouble Forum to avoid email and communication issues
- Forums for discussion of curriculum and educational styles
- Easy & Fast Registration
- Ability for users to easily report abuse - less restrictive moderation
- Live chat opportunities with registered users

Please bookmark the new site for Cathswap AND update any links that you
may have created to promote our swap. You will need to create a new
user name and pass when you register. Look over the FAQs to view
the Swap Rules and various features of the new platform.
