This is an egroup for discussion of any and all matters concerned with evolution. This means Darwin, his life and theories, Darwinian scholarship, including other approaches to evolution in the past and present. It is also intended to include findings, debates, concepts and philosophical disscussions about Darwinian ideas in other disciplines, including, for example, Darwinian psychology, social science, epistemology and the relevance of Darwinism to moral, cultural, social, political and ideological matters.
One of the aims of the forum is to provide a place where different disciplines and points of view which often do not make much contact can debate in a single space. This means that sharp disagreements are very likely. The forum leaders are determined that these will be condicted in a civil manner.
