EarthSave is a national non-profit educational organization making the connections between a plant-based diet on one hand and the environment and health on the other. We host educational programs that explore the many ways in which animal agriculture is a serious polluter of the water and soil, and shapes land use and affects political and social economies in a negative fashion, just as a diet based on meat is a serious polluter of our body. Earthsave promotes food choices that are healthy for people and the planet. We educate, inspire and empower people to shift toward a plant-based diet and to take compassionate action for all life on earth. We also want to create a safe, emotionally supportive community environment for ourselves as we do this outreach work. We are volunteers and others who are interested in supporting the work of the Boston-area chapter. Our chapter web page is at http://boston.earthsave.org ; please feel free to browse.
