It is for users of the Derive Mathematical
Assistant,(DOS and Windows versions) as well as
the Texas Instruments TI-92/89. The goals of the
group, through its Newsletter (DNL), are to
enable the exchange of experiences made with
Derive and the TI-92/89, as well as to create a
group to discuss the possibilities of new
methodological and didactical techniques in
teaching mathematics.
It is also intended to be used as a type of
`Brains Trust' or `International Think Tank
Extraordinaire', by means of which any member
with a problem in solving an actual math. problem
or an algorithmic strategy for some theoretical
research etc. can be helped by interested
members of eDUG
To facilitate joining the group, it is important that would-be members identify themselves with their full name.
