Description

eLIMBO, (electronic)Loss In Multiple Birth Outreach, is a support network for parents who have lost one or more children in a multiple birth situation (e.g., twin, triplet, quadruplet, etc.). This list, founded in December 1995, offers grief support for all parents of deceased multiples from the newly bereaved to those who experienced a loss several years ago. This includes: miscarriage, stillbirth, selective reduction, loss of one or more multiples in utero, neonatal and childhood death.

Topics of the list include: general grief support, family issues, coping with those who do not understand, ways to honor our children, parenting surviving multiples and our other children, etc. The group is intended to be a safe, non-confrontational place where we can support one another as we move along this healing journey after our loss.

The name LIMBO implies what many of us feel as we experience this loss. Are we parents of Twins? Triplets? Quadruplets? etc. How do we answer the question "how many children do you have?, etc. For more information on our name and the list, please visit our website: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Lake/5142/index.html

* All list members are expected to post an introductory
note within ten days of subscribing to the list.

* No member should contact another member privately unless
they have posted to the list first.

*This list is intended for parents only. Others who wish to join the list should contact the list administrator.

*This list is not to be used for surveys, research, publications, or other types of solicitations, please contact the list administrator if you would like to conduct this off of the list.

IN ORDER TO BE APPROVED FOR THE LIST, PLEASE FILL OUT THE "COMMENT TO OWNER" ON THE YAHOOGROUPS FORM WHEN SIGNING UP.

PLEASE ALLOW UP TO TEN DAYS FOR THE LIST MODERATOR TO RESPOND TO YOUR REQUEST FOR MEMBERSHIP.
