Description

This list is for discussion about installing and using CVS. Talk

about work on CVS is also welcome, as are enhancements and

bug fixes. Bug reports should go to bug-cvs@prep.ai.mit.edu (or use

the cvsbug script in the newer CVS release).

What is CVS?

"CVS" is an acronym for the "Concurrent Versions System".

CVS is a "Source Control" or "Revision Control" tool designed to

keep track of source changes made by groups of developers working

on the same files, allowing them to stay in sync with each other as

each individual chooses.
