Hello all my name is Joseph Riggio and I established this list about four years ago to explore the issue of the evolution of consciousness and the ways in which this evolution is coming about. Especially with regard to how both the old and the new technologies of the embodied-mind are being used for personal, organizational and societal development. All contributions, opinions and speculations –consenting and dissenting – are welcome here.

The intention of this list is to expose the Mythogenic Self(tm) Process model, with a special emphasis on the relationship between body and mind as a singular operating entity – as well as the way this is manifest in the personal, organizational and societal myths we live. The model, allows a skilled facilitator to map the somatic and semantic structures of pre-consciousness, consciousness, and trans-consciousness, working in the domain of direct sensory experience from pre-verbal, pre-conscious experience – prior to the generation of symbolic or representational form, to post-verbal, trans-conscious experience – beyond symbolic or representational form.
