Description

This is a specifically communist forum for those who are declared communists. The purpose of this, in our opinion, is in order to maintain contact between communists, and in order to discuss the possiblities for seriously attempting to work against the capitalist system.

Communism, to us, is the abolition of private property. In communism, property is held in common, and wealth is produced through the free collaboration of men and women. Despite Stalin, value, money, and the state, cannot exist in Communism (or Socialism, or Social-Democracy).

As scientific socialists we accept the materialist conception of history and the labour theory of value. We intend to develop further our class-based analysis of the developments going on in society, and to aid in the 'intervention' of the revolutionary minority in the struggles of the class. This forum is essentialy for the discussion of those coming to communist, or left communist, conclusions, and those seeking to escape opportunism, sectarianism and utopianism.

We would prefer it if only those who accept the above joined: others should join: http://groups.myspace.com/socialistdiscussion.

In regards to the links on this forum, those who wish to submit a link should make a post for discussion. The current policy of restricting the ability to create links to the moderator only is simply to stop time wasters posting offensive or deliberatly counter productive links.
