I have a set of brackets made for me by a local machinist, essentially doing the same as the north brackets, and I have 17x9's and 275/40x17's at all 4 corners

I'll be a dissenting voice here. They do open up with time, and the way to fix it depends on the diff (for instance, Torsen is different than Trac-Loc), but
