Pete: If the fluid is too viscus, the blocker rings will not be able to slow the gear set to speed the would permit engagement. What fluid are you using? ...
Yep. It's been about 5 years since my last post to this list (owned an almost-stock '91 GT, sold that and bought Pete Calabrese's '91 monster Mustang, then...
We're in the process of restomoding our 86 SVO. While I'm keeping the factory parts, and getting them fixed and painted, we're adding a fiberglass hood...

I suggest starting with a 94-04 bumper as it's made from 0.044 sheetmetal and is much easier to cut than the ones found on earlier mustangs, such as your 86...
Since this is a handling related list, and, well, weight distro is important, some cat over at corner-carvers said he was able to achieve 50/50 out of his...
=8-O I guess if you had no other alternative. I would be very afraid of a significant pendulum effect there. Perhaps fill the rear seat wells with lead, but...

My old CP 86 Mustang was close to 50/50 with driver and heavy ass Dart block, and I posted pictures of that on CC, but I sure the heck didn't make a lead rear...

Go dremmels! I put the ES mount next to the orig mount I took off (which is beat to sh*t). The bolts and holes seemed to line up, so maybe something else is...
Probably a good thing to do. Remember, these older cars have had lots of opportunity to move about, and the other two mounts can play into the fitment...

After doing a clutch on an SVO, just to get the bolts to line up in the tranny I had to go back and loosen everything way up so I could grab the tailshaft and...

I seem to recal having to open up the slots in the crossmember a bit. I think that possibly the bolts that ES use were a little bigger than the studs the...
That is the issue I had on my 86, the ES bolts are a notch up in size and basically threaded themselves through the cross member.? I have had the cross member...
