This is a job search support group for workers in the Stamford, CT area who's jobs have been outsourced to India. It is to be used to develop a network of job leads and contacts as well as information sharing. Here are some basic rules.

1. DO NOT post any contact names to the message board.

2. Please download Yahoo messenger so that IM conversations can be had.

3. Feel free to post the names of any recruiters you believe will be honest and effective. Some recruiters just look to fill their rolodex as opposed to making a sincere effort to get to know the job seeker. See article in File area.

4. Post a message for any job leads you come across that you believe others would be interested in. In the body of the message describe the position and relevent information. If it was found on a job board create a link in the Links area.

5. Check out the different sections. The Files section has articles to assist you in your job search. Links should contain links of jobs or other relevent information. The more people contribute, the better chance we all have of finding a new job more quickly. Also, many companies offer employees finder fees, so many times there's a financial reward for people who help us out.
