Curently I have my ERP creating one app-file for invoices out. Some of these invoices must go 810 and some must go 880. Tech support says not possible....

I've never tried it that way - I know that by choosing a map in the application to EDI operation, it picks all of the trading partners out from the file, but...

Try ordering them. Remember a header (application id) record must exist between each transaction type. I no longer have STMap so I can't give you more details....

I would think that it would look to the TradingPartner ID in the header, and then choose the map based on which TP it found. Currently if it encounters an 880...

TLW uses the information in the header to select the proper trading partner info and map. Of course the data following the header must be for the 880 as well....

Trading Partner ID is linked to the application ID. Both of these values determine which map is used. The application ID for the 810 should NOT be the same...
