A tip on making replacement bushings for the blower moter is to make them fom oil impregated bronze stock instead of brass or bronze. They should last longer....

You are correct, 164's all have the same transmission tunnel. I don't think Andy has seen the inside of a 164. I would not use an M46 gearbox with a B30...

Craig, It might be easier and eventually cheaper to take it to a workshop and either borrow their press, or ask them to do it. It should only take 5 minutes....
