An open membership, moderated list for quick communication among *all* of the Capital District folk/traditional arts groups. I'd like to make this a communications bridge for all the organizations: PSG, Old Songs, Lena's, 8th Step, Hudson-Mohawk Traditional Dances, Inc., Black Crow, and all the other presenting organizations.



I don't want this to become a competitor to Folk-Times and other calendar organizations, but I do want it to be a place where last minute changes or events organized too late for other calendars can be announced.



There are places here (on the website) for you to list calendar events and to post links for groups and individuals in the Capital District, and I can also organize polls on various subjects if anyone is interested. If you wish to post a link, please put them in the appropriate folders on the links page. To do so, click on the appropriate folder and wait for it to open before adding any link info.



At least for now I am making this a moderated list, to help reduce traffic to an accepatable level. I will try to check for new items at least twice a day to try to keep things current and make announcements timely.
