Planet Ohio allows nature lovers in Ohio and beyond to share information on nature observations (wildflowers, birds, meteor showers and astronomy, wetlands, insects and spiders, etc.), locations around the country (nature preserves, campgrounds, lakes, prairies, etc.) and activities (organized meteor shower watches, camping, canoeing, hikes, etc.).

This is a place to share observations and activities. Tell us how the garden grows, or how many morels ya found, or what butterflies just fluttered by. You can even share photos of your last camping trip!

We all care about the planet, and we feel knowledge, experience and education begin with a love of nature. Extremists looking for someone to accept and support their opinions are probably wasting their time here. Ours too.

Nature has no bounderies. No matter where you are on the planet, this is the place to indulge your love of the natural world......
