Welcome to Red Rock Eater News Service
The Red Rock Eater is an online facility that consists of the RRE News Service and the RRE Archive. The Red Rock Eater News Service (RRE) is a mailing list organized by
Phil Agre. Subscribers to the list receive five or ten messages a week on average. These messages have no single format; they simply contain whatever I find interesting.
These days most of the messages tend to concern the social and political aspects of computing and networking, but many have also concerned linguistic
sociology, artificial intelligence, classical and medieval history, and community and labor organizing. If these things interest you then you're most welcome to subscribe.
RRE is not a discussion list. If you'd like to set up a separate list to discuss the materials that go out on RRE then I'd be happy to advertise it on the RRE mailing list and web pages.
